Joel Hensel

I’m Joel Hensel, and I’ve been a State Farm Agent for 19 years. My journey with State Farm began back in 1991, when I started working in my brother’s office. Over the years, I’ve been involved in leadership, consulting, and auto adjusting, experiences that helped shape how I approach working with customers today. I’m licensed to market insurance in Washington, Idaho, and Oregon, and I take pride in helping individuals and families prepare for what matters most.

My team and I have a genuine passion for helping people understand insurance and how it can support their family over time. We spend time walking through options and helping customers put together personal coverage for things like auto insurance, home insurance, and life insurance, whether it’s protecting a vehicle, a home, or providing added financial support for loved ones. We also help customers review available discounts so they’re aware of opportunities that may apply to their situation. I grew up in South Carolina and attended the University of South Carolina, where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. In 2007, I moved to the Seattle area and put down roots here. Today, my office proudly serves Bothell, along with Woodinville, Redmond, Bellevue, and Bow, as well as customers in Post Falls and throughout Idaho and Oregon.

Outside the office, I enjoy landscaping, tackling DIY projects, spending time with family, and studying aviation. Those interests reflect how I like to approach life and work—hands‐on, thoughtful, and always learning.
